
Ingredients
- 1 heaped cup cashew nuts
- 1 apple unpeeled, cored and cut into pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
Method
- Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you have a thick creamy texture.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving
Top tips
- Refrigerating overnight, letting the flavours infuse, makes this nut cream even more delicious
- This recipe makes a delicious breakfast with muesli and/or fruit
- Use as a dessert on its own with berries on top or as a side for cake or muffins
